Burn-out Symptômes

We help you identify if you are affected by a burn-out

Description:

Burnout first results in physical signs: permanent fatigue, back pain, insomnia, migraine, stomach aches, frequent infections, etc. Emotional emptiness, anxiety, depression in all its forms, irritability and a tendency towards isolation can all be signs of psychological suffering. The exhausted person can become unusually cold, indifferent, emotionally isolated, and cynical.

Most often, the physical signs disappear spontaneously, but this is not a sign of a lasting improvement in the state of health.

If working conditions are not satisfactory, other signs may begin to appear such as frustration, feeling of failure, and an excessive disconnect from the environment and events. Eating disorders may appear, even drug addiction (alcohol, drugs, medication). If exhaustion persists, it can trigger a depression that can exacerbate burnout.

People who suffer from burnout for long periods seem predisposed to other health problems, such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, overweight or obesity.
